Celtic agree a fee for Kilmarnock left back Greg Taylor

Celtic have agreed a fee with Kilmarnock for left back Greg Taylor ahead of tonight’s midnight deadline.

Taylor has already had a medical with the Scottish champions, but the transfer had been delayed after both Calvin Miller and Jack Hendry rejected moves to Rugby Park.

But Celtic re-negotiated their fee for Taylor and the Scotland International - who had been training with the national team - is making his way from Edinburgh to Glasgow to finalise his move.

More to follow…..

Taylor was missing from Kilmarnock’s team for their Premiership match against St.Johnstone at McDiarmid Park, after also missing last week’s draw with Aberdeen.

Rising through the ranks at Kilmarnock, Taylor made his debut for the senior side in the 4-2 defeat to Dundee United in May 2016. Since then he has played in 130 games scoring just once for the Rugby Park side.
