Odsonne Edouard looking forward to Christopher Jullien réunion

Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard can’t wait to be reunited with his former Toulouse teammate Christopher Jullien, after the central defender signed a four-year-deal with the Scottish champions.

The French pair played together at the French Ligue One side during the 2016-17 season, when Edouard was on loan from French champions Paris Saint Germain, before the striker moved on loan to Celtic and then moved to Glasgow on a permanent basis for a Celtic record fee of £9 million.

Speaking about his new Celtic teammate, Edouard said: “Christopher is a very good player. I liked playing with him at Toulouse and he’s a good friend of mine.

"We kept in contact and I’m very happy that he’s signed for Celtic. I’m excited to play alongside him again, he can help the team a lot!”

Meanwhile, Celtic have rejected another lowball offer from Arsenal for left back Kieran Tierney, worth around £17 million with a further £7.5 million add-ons.

The Scottish champions are reportedly increasing their interest in Nice’s left back Romain Perraud, who wants to leave the Ligue One side.
