Olivier Ntcham inches closer to the Celtic exit door

French midfielder Olivier Ntcham is inching closer to the exit door at Celtic Park after the 23-year-old admitted that leaving the club was possible with Marseille showing an interest.

Currently on international duty with France’s U21 side, during a press conference Ntcham addressed rumours over his future.

He said: "Yes, it's very interesting. Marseille are a big club. A departure from Celtic is possible."

While Marseille are waiting for the expected departure of Morgan Sanson to West Ham before making a move for Ntcham, Porto are also keeping tabs on the Celtic midfielder and could make a move before too long.

The former Manchester City midfielder cost Celtic around £4 million two seasons ago, but after a standout first season he struggled last term and found game time under Neil Lennon limited.

If or should I say when Ntcham departs Celtic, the Scottish champions will be looking for around £15 million for the player - a departure that won’t have a negative impact on Celtic’s playing squad, but will help to boost their own transfer business as a result.
