Youngster Ewan Henderson joins Ross County on loan

Newly promoted Ross County have signed Celtic youngster Ewan Henderson on a season long loan deal.

Speaking to the official Ross County website, co-manager Steven Ferguson, said: "We are delighted to bring Ewan in. We believe he will add a different dimension to us in the middle of the park.

"Obviously coming from Celtic he has an excellent pedigree and is very highly regarded at Celtic Park. Hopefully, he can come in here and continue to develop and get some game time under his belt.”

Henderson made his debut for Celtic in a 0-0 draw with Kilmarnock in May 2018, before making six appearances for the Scottish champions last season.

This season, he has found it difficult to break into the first team with just a minute of action played at the tail end of the 2-1 in over Sarajevo at Celtic Park back in July.

A move to Ross County will see Henderson secure much needed first team football.
